Re: Nostalgia Thread :D
Well, since I'm not that old, I suppose I can only be nostalgic
the late 90's and early 00's. My list may be short!
(I don't know if these are nostalgic, as I am quite young. But they are stuff that I remember when I was young-er)
For my birthday party, I used to have around 20 people over ... my twin and I had the same party so all her friends came and all mine too. I remember my 4th so well.
Rugrats - loved them.
Pokemon cards!
Big, blocky videos instead of DVDs. People never thought they'd be completely replaced.
The Sims 1.
Recess (TV show)
Tarzan, when it fist came out. I remember I was like 4 ... and I was so amazed by it all.
Lego everywhere.
Going to bed at half 9 and getting up at 8 for the bus.
Everything was so simple then ...
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Speed Freaks for playstation 1!
Dark Cloud on PS2.
Jak and Daxter (series)
Rayman
talking and hearing about the Afgahn war ... all the time
9/11. I remember that day as clear as day .. at my grand-aunts and seeing the towers fall on tv.
The Den.
The Morbegs! (Star? )
Summers were summers.
People seemed to eat money as there was so much.
Bertie Ahern
Kingdom Hearts, of course!
...
There's a bit more but I just got up so
the late 90's and early 00's. My list may be short!

Annie ... Shudders.
Yeah...my sentiments as well.
I never really liked Annie, but all the other girls in my class went nuts for her. Every day at recess they would play out the movie.
My daughter has a pair of Jelly sandals. Size 3...so cute.
Re: Nostalgia Thread :D
I want to wear jelly sandals! lol I love them
Also I was a very ... well ... experimental child. I had a plastic Annie doll that I gave 'plastic surgery' to and she came out looking like a morbid piece of dodo. I cant even explain how bad it was, comparable to chucky maybe lol
I also remember those dolls that had hair that could be 'grown' (as in pulled out of the scalp), so weird. lol
OMG, I just googled Lego Doll house. This is the exact same as my old one.
Well this is another memory.

Re: Nostalgia Thread :D
I remember the hair dolls. Weird.
Never heard of a Lego doll house. But I had a Lego pirate ship. I can't find a pic of it, but it didn't look anything like the Lego pirate ships they have now...
I also had this:
It's a "My Little Pony Giraffe". Wish I still had it, and it was in good condition...it's rare.
Had a Cabbage Patch Kid Horse, that I got from my uncle. He looked like the horse that I used to ride, until I was thrown from him. I named him Jim since he looked just like the real horse.
Oh and I was much more mature for a child than I should've been. I named my Cabbage Patch Kid...Thelma. Seriously...what 8 year old names their doll "Thelma"?

Re: Nostalgia Thread :D
Haha lol Giraffe. I first thought it was a knock off or something.
On the note of cabbage Patch kids, I was and still am obsessed with the smell of them
I had two, one was a normal one, the other a 'wet one' that you could bathe. It also came with a shower thingy, I'll try and find a pic
Wow the only pic I could find and it's tiny!
I'm also a sucker for archaic names, people look at me weird when I say I'm going to name my car Cornelius, Thelma is an awesome name .

Re: Nostalgia Thread :D
OMG, the smell of CPK's! I haven't had one in a looong time, and I don't know what happened to Thelma (I think my sister took her), but I remember the smell...like a new baby or something.
I tried to find a pic of my CPK, but no luck. She had red braided piggy tails, and a jogging suit on. There is a pic of one with brown hair, but no red headed one. I loved that doll. My mom won her at K-Mart for me just before Christmas. I kept her in mint condition...then my sister got her when I grew up, and ugh...I was so upset to see how she treated that doll. I should've taken her with me when I moved out.
That shower kid is cute! I remember those! Do you remember the Cabbage Patch Kids Pets?
^Creeped me out...and I had the cat. I didn't like it as much as the horse...I'm a horse person.

Since I was born mid-90's my memory is non-existent. XD OMG they stopped selling pop-tarts there?! I would totally send you 50 boxes if I could. Oh and did you guys know if you get teennick they are replaying 90's shows like All that, are you afraid of the dark, double dare, and many more. It's pretty darn awesome.

Pound Puppies
New Kids on the Block
Lite Brite
Easy Bake Oven
My Little Ponies
Barbies! (probably why I love the sims)
Oh, and Debbie Gibson!
And Mall Madness (the board game)

Remember Jellies? The shoes.
And I have a question. Does anyone remember the Punky Brewster Cartoon?
Or another Saturday Morning Cartoon (when they bloody had them) the was about a band of teenagers who get sucked into their television and become cartoons themselves in this cartoon land? Usually they would have to get out of some situation and that usually involved playing some song. At the end of each episode, they played a music video of some teeny bopper band like The Jets, or Tiffany.
No one ever knows these cartoons.
Cheers.

Re: Nostalgia Thread :D
Awww! Punky Brewster! I still remember the episode they made about the space shuttle Challenger blowing up. And Punky ran home and cried. Now I really am nostalgic.
I don't remember that cartoon, Mcbean, but I do remember one about a guy that was stuck in cartoon land with lots of video game characters. There was one named Kid Icarus. But I don't remember much more than that.
And Gem and the Holograms! Whenever I see JEL around the Official forums, I always think of Gem.
What about Kids Incorporated? I can still sing parts of the theme song.
