I was excited for it for like a second. That excitement is gone now. So you're not the only one. Making Magic was the only EP I didn't get from Sims 1. I got Apartment Life for Sims2, and I'm told it came with magic, but I never used it.

The spellbook comes with 5 spells.
-Enchant
-Summon
-Summon Acquaintance
-Mood Uplifter
-Unleash Animale

Users are putting videos up on youtube of what these spells do.

I dunno, I posted this here for anyone who is interested, but the lack amount of spells that comes with it would bore me pretty quickly. Like I've been saying, I can see this being a good use for story telling in Story's or Machinimas, but other than that...no thanks. And like you said...500 SP's? Really? I'll wait until it's on the DD for free to get it, if I want it.

Yeah, I'm not sold on it yet either. I never played Sims 1 at all, and never got Apartment Life. So I haven't ever had magic in my game. Maybe after I watch some videos of it or something I might want it.

So far, it seems like something you can do with cheats. So... Idk.

I would get this if I wanted to create my own "Charmed" sisters to use for story-telling or a machinima.
