A couple of users bought and tried it, and it does magic!

lol no prob was planning on it anyways. Here is a pic of learning the skill. Spell tome is animated with little ghosts.

Also it is under MISC ENTERTAINMENT. It threw me for a loop because i was looking under skills and hobbies.

Okay, gotta admit that this is pretty freakin' awesome.

The 500 simpoint price tag does kind of piss me off. EA, if you're going to make this thing accessible in the Store, at least make it cheaper.

500 Sim Points is what - $5? That doesn't seem unreasonable to me.

But York, if a single object is $5, and a stuff pack is around $15,then that means there's only 3 objects in a - oh wait, that does add up. Nevermind!

Yes, I have to agree to some extent with you York. I mean, it is an object like no other, and if I had that amount of sp I would in fact get it, but as I have 0, it does seem a tad much.

There's a 3 Story Column in there. Have we had those yet? I miss the 2 Story Windows and Doors from the Sims 2.

It's very cool. I had no idea.

I haven't been able to play Sims since Sunday night. I tripped on the USB cord connecting my external drive to the mothership. The thing is all bent up and it made me bleed. I need to rejigger it this weekend in hopes that I can get the external drive recognized again.

I don't think we've gotten the 3 story column yet. I know the tool that came with, I want to say Ambitions, that allowed us to change the height of the columns, but I don't think we haven't gotten an actual column that was that height without the column height tool.

I miss those windows from sims 2 too.

BSG, do you have GEN? I think the three story came with GEN or the update.

I forgot about the tool that adds/changes the height of the columns. I just never use it. Silly me. But it just made me miss those windows. I loved those windows.

Yes I have Gen. and the update. I'll have to check for the column...I haven't noticed it. *going to look since I have my game running now*

I never use that column height tool either. It's good if you're making like a colonial plantation type house, but I've yet to make one of those...

Edit: I didn't see the 3 story in there, unless I'm looking in the wrong place (build>columns) or thought I had successfully downloaded the update, but didn't.

I WANT THIS SO BAAAAAAD, BUT ITS SOOOO EXPENSIVE @__@

What does it actually do? I seem to be the only person not excited for magic... and at 500 sp it's not exactly a bargain! Especially if it's just a few pretty flashy sparkles or something.

EDIT (seems it does a little more than just sparkle... but still, 500 sp...)

Just to say: the Multiple Story Columns tool came with Ambitions, and instead of picking a 3-story column etc, you drag the slider and it shows that some of the columns become 2-story or 3-story columns.
