Pretty good considering we were a little stressed over the fact our car died the day before Thanksgiving. I made my first pumpkin pie(s) yesterday and thought I had ruined them but was able to save them. Mr Green Turkey came out awesome! We "glazed" it with Basil flavored EVOO instead of butter and it tasted great! Since I've been working out and dieting for the past 4 months, I've learned to listen to my body when I'm full, and didn't over-eat. Then we watched "Hidalgo".

My birthday is tomorrow, so I got $20 from mom and $25 from dad (yeah I still get money from parents Razz ) and Gamestop is having a black friday deal where you can get Supernatural and Seasons (new) for $19.99 each, so guess what I'm getting later this afternoon. Laughing
Daughter got $25 from her other grandparents (late b-day gift) so we're taking her to Target to pick out a toy. Mr Green she really wants a baby doll high chair for her baby dolls. Laughing She's bugging me about it as I type this. Razz
Just waiting for the bf to give the green light that the car is done and we're going!

I didn't celebrate this year since I had to work. I was told I had the day off, but some girl complained about it and I was forced to switch Mad

Nice to hear you both had nice times.

Happy birthday Brunette!

Thanks! I was disappointed to see the schedule change, especially after the meeting we had stressing that no one was allowed to ask for the day off. But it was what it was. On the plus, I got a raise today Wink

You're welcome. Hope it was a good birthday Very Happy

No Thanksgiving here, but happy late Birthday, Brun! Music

And my congrats on your rise. Who knows, maybe it made your boss feel guilty that you had to work on a holiday? Whistle
