Thanksgiving?

As you have probably noticed by my posts, Thanksgiving is not really a holiday in Germany...
but obviously it is in the US and maybe elsewhere, so I was wondering:

Do you let your sims ingame celebrate Thanksgiving?!

No, not really. I probably would if they had made it so the family sat down to eat together rather than some at one table...some at another...some in the bathroom ( )...hmmmm, on second thought--sounds exactly like Thanksgiving.

I do when Christmas comes around though. Can't wait to be able to deck out the outside of the house as well with the lights that will come with Seasons!

Hm, I see... right, it's always such an effort to sit a group of sims down at the dinner table and assure the really eat at the same time. I only managed that ONCE so far

I remember that a lot of simmers complain about that. Wonder if a future patch will do something about it

It'd be nice! I was hoping they would add that with Generations, but nooooooooooooo.

Although I found it interesting that my sims hubby got into an argument with their son-in-law the other day when I was playing, and everyone, except the son-in-law, sat at the same table to eat. He ate at a table at the other end of the lot.

THESE are the things ingame that make me go "... wait, did they just do that on their own free will?"

I had an awkward moment ingame some time ago when a sim suddenly looked straight ups at me

That freaks the hell out of me when they do that. My sims YA daughter seems to do that all the time. The last time she did that I had paused the game while playing my sim, then clicked to see what the daughter was doing, to see her "looking" right at me.

Creepy...

Hm, reminds me, I have to check on a sim story about somebody getting sucked into her sims game
