"New World"- a WIP

I haven't thought of a new name for this world yet, but it's my first one and I think it is looking great so far
It's on a tiny map size
(not good at sculpting or coloring yet)

It is a world on an island with one bridge to the "wilderness side"
The city side has no roads and is tightly packed together

Here go the pics so far:



This is when I just started out! There was nothing much done yet

This is after some sculpting, painting, and tree decorating
It looks good to me, but what are you guys' opinions
I'm almost done with the "wilderness" side, but I have to finish off that house
The other lot will stay empty for any purpose any one might have

So what do you guys have to say about my progress so far
I'm going to update next week

I don't build worlds myself, so I am hardly a critic

But from looking at the pics so far I think you should colour the grass differently in patches. Right now it's so incredibly GREEN everywhere, it reminds me of a golf course

SHADE THE GRASS! Use darker colors to shade it and some lighter colors to highlight it!
The more colors you use the better it looks!
I can easily use up to 7 colors just for the grass XD
It is a very intresting start though ^^

Do you know where I can get some shading colors?

Well, I always get some textures and recolor them myself to have some colors to choose from.
