So, I had to come home from school early..

And you won't believe, I came home from school at lunchtime to have lunch.
Not really a big story, yeah?

But I was forced to.

A mouse got into my school bag and ate my sandwich and LCM bar.
And when it was lunchtime and everyone went to the lockers, I picked up my bag and the mouse like, sped out and past my shoulder.
It took me a moment to realise what happened. o.o

Anyways, there's a mouse plague in Rural Victoria atm.
And my school can't afford hooks to hang our bags up. (my bag won't fit in my locker)

So anyways, now I get 2 Minute Noodles instead of vegemite sandwiches.
SCORE!

Also, when I was leaving the office to go home, my principal stopped me so she could give me this thing.
It was an invitation to attend John Monash Science School in Melbourne for Five Weeks.
Apparently you get English and Maths, as well as a Science Elective.
Nanotechnology sounds interesting. o.O

But otherwise, I don't have permission to ever leave the grounds during school time...

XD I love how it's afternoon there. It's 9 P.M. here. I don't know why, but I've always wondered how other countries schools were different from ours, and now that your talking about school, and I know you're in Australia, I'm curious again. XD Yep, that was pretty random. XD

you get to go to that because you got a rat in your bag? also science is an elective where you live?

No.
I got it given to me because I'm awesome, and I was also in the office at the same time as my principal printing receiving it.

It's an invitation to a school in Melbourne (3 and a half hours away) which will have me for Five weeks, along with other awesome people from Rural areas.
When we're there, we have normal English and Math type classes, as well as a Science Elective (because it's a science school) of our choice.

It's a really unique opportunity.. :3

Man, when I was in high school the only time we got to go home early was if we were sick. I guess my school couldn't do that because we had a cafeteria. The food was barely edible.

The only time I went home early was if I'm sick, which is quite rare.... and anyway, if you told them you were sick they wouldn't believe you: 'you can't afford to be sick or getting days of school at this time of the school year!' Ah eff you. So much stress these days Can't wait for summer... and TY!
