Been working hard at re-creating my Country Mountain Cottage. Got the shell done. I think it's coming along pretty good!

Remember this house, the one I had to remove from my game because it kept crashing?

It's good to see you guys back together. I hope your relationship is smoother this time around.

So far so good. But we'll see if it stays that way or if it chooses to show me it's true colors once we get comfortable together.

What do you mean? They're the same patterns. Just the original pic was taken at a different time of day from the recreation (so it made it look "warmer"), and it's stretched a little.

The original pic was taken in the early evening, whereas the recreation pics were taken at 6:30am. Maybe that's why they look different? (also, I'm assuming you're talking about the outside siding?) Inside is different...

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate the graphic cards that are in laptops? We really need a desktop...

Oh wow! It looks great! I love the kitchen cabinets under the curved window. I've got one kind of like that in one of my houses, and I found that you can put a usable dishwasher in the center.

You've got some really great CC. And I love all the colors together.

I didn't know you could put dishwashers on curved counters like that!

Thanks for the compliments about the house in general and the CC. I get most of my CC from sims3updates.net and the sites from there. Plus, I'll be honest, I got a lot from creators from TSR as well, but not from TSR (if ya know what I mean). I'm always looking out for new CC sites, and some old that I didn't know existed. What can I say...I'm a CC junkie.

I would be if I could figure out how to get it in my game. I just hate computers and I have no idea what I'm doing. So any CC I have is from The Exchange (shudder!) but it all works fine. I've deleted what doesn't work.

My dream in life is to have Bluenote come to my house and use her magic wand on my computer and install mods/cc and generally clean it up. She's so talented it really seems like magic to me.

Yeah she's awesome. I've learned some stuff from just reading her posts that I pretty much know how to make sure my game is safe from any bad/corrupted CC. Mods aren't too hard, and I don't even bother attempting to use core mods...I can only imagine that nightmare!
