I got inspired today and made a few new sims. They're really outside the realm of what I normally create, so I'm quite proud of myself for taking the chance. In any case, meet Devin and Marona Ross. They're siblings.


Marona pulled a model face for me.



Devin is actually a modified version of Mortimer Goth. It's really hard to tell, since I changed so much about him.

I'm glad you like her! She was loosely inspired by your avatar, Misty Mint. That original hair color and facial structure on Misty struck me as really interesting, so I experimented with them on Marona.

Misty was a sweet and very cute presence, but I thought I could make them work with a more moody and brooding sim. I'm glad that she turned out the way she did, but I can't take a whole lot of credit. I've been trying to get more into the CC that I hadn't been using a lot. She's the first sim I've had that used contacts, eyebrows that weren't EA and a hair that didn't have EA highlights.

Oh and I kind of like Devin, too.

I played around with the poseplayer a bit the other day, but truthfully... I'm already bored of it Most of the poses just don't fit the personalities of my sims, so I end up using the same poses over and over. But I did get a few good shots.








What I am pleased about is that I finally found a sim that suits the strange HELS hair. Found him when playing Tristina in the stylist proffession... might just have to go find him again to save him to the bin

I decided to muck with my last save just a tiny bit.


I wasn't loving Devin's hair color, so I dyed it a little differently.



And then I started a band with Marona's best friend and Devin's girlfriend, Tara.



It's called sexy piano playing and it's all the rage!



Tara doesn't mind getting a little excited about playing the drums.



Ah, she's calmed down a bit.



Devin on Guitar. He was pulling some killer moves, earlier.



If you're wondering if I actually created Tara, the answer is yes. This is her everyday outfit.



And this is formalwear. After this, I had to quit. I promise closeups of Tara either later today or tomorrow!

I have more, but I already feel like I'm overusing this thread.

I know the name of the band is cliché, but I absolutely suck at naming bands in TS3.

Anyway, the sims you once knew as Andrea Roan, Derek Andrews, Tara Patrick, Marona Ross and Devin Ross are now known as Firebird, Viper, Shadow, Sunburst and Mist. I'm doing it in sort of an "alter ego" fashion. Lets hope they make some cash!
