What's been happening in your game lately?

Heya, just thought we needed a thread like this here since the one on the officials is so popular that it moves to fast to really keep up with...

In my game I threw my very first gift giving party, I was so excited to see how it works when just as soon as the first guest arrives I hear the smoke detector go off! Sure enough I had a HUGE fire from the fireplace in the living room! Right where I had planned to have everyone gather of course! Next thing I know all my guests were running up to the fire, some trying to put it out and others just doing the typical sim fire dance. Well the fire was the biggest I've ever had in my game so of course simmies started catching on fire and I hear the sound of Grimmie on his way *sigh*... 3 dead and 2 singed and everyone unhappy... The survivors were hungry though and took full advantage of the buffet my sim had prepared lol... Finally my sim put the fire out all by herself just as the fire truck shows up! My poor simmy got chewed out by the fireman and then proceeded to flirt with him on her own! After everyone left and said what a lousy party it was I shut down the game and just sat there laughing for a good 5 minutes wrapping my head around what just happened! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard over this game!! Now that's a Christmas (Snowflake Day) that will never be forgotten!! I wish I would have thought to take pics but since I was just checking out Seasons I didn't even think about it until after...

LMAO! It wouldn't be a gift giving party if there wasn't some sort of chaos. I had one gift giving party and everyone wanted to do other stuff, like play up in the game room. >_< LOL!

Did your sim get far with that fireman? If so, that was one hell of a gift she got!



I had to recently move my legacy family out of this house:


because there were too many issues with it. I was going to upload it, but I don't know...I wouldn't want others experiencing the same issues I was having with this house.

So now they live in this house (temporarily):


And it's unfinished, but I'm finishing it while they're there. And I'm using this house in a story I've started.

Eventually I'm going to move them into this house (unless I really end up liking the house they're in...then I may make a new family for this house):






With my legacy family (which is the family I play the most, if not all the time), my simself's two grandson's, Henry James, and Thorton, aged up to YA, and her granddaughter, Nora Mae, aged up to a child. I'm trying to find the boys girlfriends (well, I was trying to find them girlfriends while they were in HS, but they never met any!!!! ), so now I'm trying to find them suitable future spouses.

That house s amazing!! Damn you have talent Brun!!

My poor simmies are still in limbo lol, haven't played since! It'll be interesting to see what happens, I left her there with the fireman lol...

I didn't go anywhere with my next chapter, so I decided to build and play some... so I revived Duke my shady investigator, moved him into a nice little shack in Sunlit tides and let him work on his career.
Guess I will be uploading some more carribbean houses soonish

Ah, and I participated in a 48 hour contest for 10x10 community lots, that was fun

Well I haven't played my Seasons save again yet (hopefully this evening) but I did create a brother and sister duo for a SN save... She's a witch that is so far obsessed with her cat, I mean really obsessed! She always throws wishes to interact with him and her thought bubbles are always her kitty! It cracks me up but it is a bit annoying... He on the other hand is addicted ton the Whack- a- Gnome game, that's all he wants to do since I bought one for the house, it's getting sold next time I play them lol... Another odd thing about these two is that even tho they are brother and sister they seem to spend an unhealthy amount of time cuddling on the sofa together, it's just not right! D

It didn't bother me like I thought it would.

Nora Mae was abducted by aliens (first time for both of us! ). Her father, Eric, aged up to an Elder, and her brother went on a date with his friend, Jenelle. While on their date, he aged up to an adult.

I've been just working on my Legacy, although I get plenty of fun pictures that I'll use for Bloopers at the end of each Generation. I've had quite a few alien visits, although I don't pay them any mind. I really need to just play a regular game where I can work on all the achievement badges. I know there's one for the alien. Meet one, get abducted, have an alien baby, something like that.

My game is still on 1.34

I got my first Alien abduction! She wasn't happy about it.

I don't make male sims often, so I was happy with the way he came out. I'll be uploading him soon. I think I have a few outfits I still need to assign to him.

Well, I've done a couple things in my game.

I downloaded pose player and a bunch of poses. I had heard about it long ago but never used it. I loooooove it! So, I did some glamour shots with my Legacy characters:














Then, while I was playing my Legacy family, Blake started a fire.




I then downloaded some CC....new skin, jewelry, etc. and made a brand new sim. (potential love interest for Blake's sons?)








I have to say, I'm impressed with this sim. I normally am not very good at making sims, but I focused more detail on the eyes, as I always make them normal round eyes, which doesn't look realistic at all. ^_^
