unviersal truths in disney movies

I think that in some Disney movies (espically the Disney "Re-birth" movies) have universal truths to them.

Beauty&the Beast&The Hunchback of Notre Dame (more in the movie then the oringal story) teaches us its the personality inside that counts, not appearance.

Hunchback's quote "You speak of justice but are cruel to those in need of your help."

The Lion King's "There's more to see then there ever been seen, more to do then can every be done."

two lines from "The Colours of the Wind" to me the Tories in Canada think like this: "The only people who are people are the people who look and think like you." (ie. anti-gay, anti-disabled, anti-females, and racist). This is true no matter who we are: "We are connect to each other in a circle in a hoop that never ends." (wonder if one song influenced the TLK or vice versa..since they're both worked on during the same time)

Well, yes, of course. Disney films always have some kind of morals. Actually, don't most films have some moral ...background?

I don't know. I just know those three things do (and Pochantas) .but they're things that go over kid's heads... until kids are older.

this really bothers me.. people wonder why Jafar doesn't just work his staff on Jasmine? Are they too blind to see that Jasmine is way to strong-willed to have that done to her?!!

The Little Mermaid: guys don't like desperate naked girls on the beach, they only like girls who can sing. Even evil ones.

And if you have fish parts, get rid of them. Also: your family.

You guys are REALLY misunderstanding me. Those are NOT universal truths that are in Archvasit post. Hers are just bad messages.

I'm only counting ones that do hold water. For instance..

More to do than can ever be done/more to see than can ever been seen. I was in Europe last summer and there was so much to see/do in London&Paris that mom and I are going back in 4 years. I also want to go to Italy, Greece, South Korea, and Dad wants to take us to Germany to see the castle that was the inspiration for the Disney's parks Castles. I also want to go back to Ottawa to take the other two Haunted Walks.

Well for some months there's been an article about this one guy in Afghanistan. Well the story is the imgration minster had promised that all interpreters who had interpreted for the Canadian troops would be able to get a visa to come over to Canada. Well this guy did and Canada denied him. There are also 2 other different than this cases ^. Some years ago a dark-skinned man (who was a Canadian citizen) was left someplace (I guess in Africa) and the government did NOTHING to help him. A year after that incident was resolved a dark-skinned woman (also a Canadian citizen) was left in I think Nigeria and it was only a blood test from her son (who was in Toronto) that got her back home. Yet years before either of these two the government helped a Causian woman out of Mexico.

To me.. the Toronto Star is the man (Human) well the Canadian government is the real monster.
