To answe the question if they looked lived in? My answer is no. The rooms are very big and the decor doesn't match it. In my opinion, if the rooms were smaller and all the stuff that was in the photos is kept, it would look more lived in. The first pic of the living room though does look more lived in than the other areas.

^ agreed, your houses would be much beter smaller. And also pattern match.

MadameChung, I agree with you in that they do look more lived in. You're improving A LOT. I see that you've added clutter (like magazines, tissue boxes, etc.) and it's making your rooms look much better.

However, I think you need to make the rooms smaller. They're huge! And that means the furniture is spread out really far, taking away a "cozy" and "lived in" feeling. My suggestion is to look online for house plans (search "Cozy cottage floor plan") and create them in your game. Or, take a look at the houses that come with the neighborhoods - those are very "lived in".

I think this is your best house though.
