I have no idea how to install mods, help?

Mods install the same way as CC. They go in your packages folder.

I don't even know what CC's are ;]

CC= custom content

CC are Clothes, furniture and object for the sims game made by other people than EA.

Your game needs a mods folder that includes a certain file and a packages folder to use it.

Unless you want to use cc that sticks to lots and sims, that is. But this can bring bad cc into your game.
