Re: Beginning of new house
Ooh, it looks so charming and comfy! I love the curtains and the pattern they make when they overlap. And I think the wood on the ceiling really helps tie it all together.
I've been thinking about getting that couch, I don't know what's been stopping me. But every time I go to buy some new stuff from the Store, I just pause and say to myself, "Nah, maybe next time."

I've had it for a while and this is the first time I've used it. It's only a ++ comfort but it's cute. I really like it, especially the shawl/blanket thrown over the arm rest.

So much of the store stuff is cute.. but EA seem to like giving sofas and beds bad comfort ratings :S It really annoys me because it means I don't use the stuff as much!
I love the house, the patterns are really cute!

I always love your houses! You just play like right to my tastes. Good room sizing, just enough decoration and best, a great color palate. I really like the direction that it's going and definitely want to see some more.

Re: Beginning of new house
I totally forgot about this house until this morning! So I started working on it again, and decided this was going to be my new sim, Cameron Blake's, house.
Outside hasn't been changed at all--no landscaping yet (I usually do that last)
Make some subtle changes to the family room (took out doors and windows replaced them with doorways since the porch is enclosed, changed the curtains, changed the area rug, added the beachy pic over the couch, changed the couch color):
Living Room:
Cameron's Bedroom (the room to the left will be her personal bathroom):
Dining Room:
Kitchen (may redo this later):
Her pretty view from her front porch--it'll be a nice place to spend evenings once I put rockers out here lol) :
Still have the 2 bedrooms upstairs to do, plus the activity room (she's athletic so it might be a exercise/athletic room), plus the landscaping.
