Turn off Email Notification on the Officials grrr

Hi, so does anyone know the answer to above/ The option is no in 'my preferences', its getting really annoying.

Ugh I know. The only way I was able to stop them is uncheck "notify me" in the section about topic replies when you're posting a response to a thread. I have to do it every time though.

I got so many emails yesterday - I thought I was finally popular. Nope. Just another EA screw up.

From what I've been hearing ... you have to uncheck the "notify me when a reply is posted" (it's just above the "preview" button when you post) each time you post. I don't know why this is as I haven't had to uncheck it everytime (I unchecked it once, and it stayed that way for all posts).

Edit: or are you referring to the email notifications you get from the EA officials? I assumed you meant the emails you get when someone replies to your post(s)...

I always used to use quick reply.... urgh D: Now if you use that you can't uncheck the 'notify me when a reply is posted', so you automatically get all the emails.

No more quick replying for me

I feel bad for all these users that are having problems with this.

Thanks, I just made a filter which filters "noreply@thesims3.com (IDK the email)" and the words "Message Posted"
So they'll skip my inbox and go straight to the trash XD

Yeah, I just did that as well. I kept using quick reply out of habit XD

Sorry guys but what´s the problem? Every notification email I got said,
"If you don´t want to be notified, please use the link below"

I did, and I received no more notifications...
