Triangular foundations?

Ok, I know that you get to triangular floor tiles with the combination of ctrl and F.

But how do I get triangular foundations?

You can't make the small triangular pieces like you do with the floor tiles for the foundation. If you make a triangular foundation, you need to piece together two angled foundation pieces and one straight foundation piece, but it will be rather large...it won't be small like the floor tiles when you use the triangular option. Did that make sense?

You can do this, if you're looking to make small triangular foundation pieces.

to get the triangle piece on the left, start with a 1 x 1 block (left)


Go to the diagonal foundation tool and while holding CTL drag your cursor half way through the block to make a triangular foundation piece.

Ah! I think I understand the second option, will try that ingame asap.

where do I find "angled foundation pieces"? Under diagonal foundations?

Yeah. If you do it that way though, it will be quite large (much larger than the little triangles in the picture). I think the second option is much easier and quicker.

Building>Foundation> diagonal/angled foundation (the option is right under the regular foundation icon)
