Can teens die in the game?

Can teens die? I mean I know they CAN die.. but someone was claiming otherwise saying that since you can't place them in a house by themselves..therefore they can't die.

Things that teens can do that younger life stages can't:
Build all skills
Take care of babies and toddlers.[TS2][TS3]
Get a part time job
Pay bills
Cook meals
Can partner and own companies
Have romantic relationships
Sneak out [TS2][TS3:G]
Teach a toddler toddler skills
Live on their own if parents die.
Drive cars
Learn to drive [TS3:G]
Show vampire genes and comport like them
Not be taken away by social worker
Die by Electrocution
Die of Starvation
Die of Drowning
Die in Fire
Die of the Mummy's Curse
Die by Traps
Die by Meteor
Die of Thirst
Male Sims can have facial hair
Graduate [TS3:G]
Be arrested when pulling pranks [TS3:G]
Go to the prom [TS3:G]
Snubbing other teen Sims [TS3:G]
Teach a dog new tricks[TS3:P]
Teach a dog to hunt[TS3:P]
Ride a Horse[TS3:P]

I know, not a 100% reliable source, but it's better than guessing I suppose.
So according to that list...yes they can die.

That gave me an idea for a person sims story where I could have the parents die... *cough* in a accident, if teens can be by themselves, to have a teen and like a toddler left and maybe multiple others. Then the teen would like have to care for the babies/kids and stuff. Unless someone will come and take the kids away?

I think that teens can be left in the house w/ child/ toddler/infants...

Jep, works. I tried that yesterday- if the parent dies, the teen is left with all the smaller siblings

Ahh okay I'll have to open my game and do that. I like making my own stories just for my own use, and to open my imagination.
